The Ministry of Justice finished the second round of the contest to choose candidates for three posts of secondary jurists at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). Another four candidates already passed the test and their files will be submitted to the Council of Europe for staging the final contest to choose the winners, IPN reports.
The four selected candidates are: Marin Gurin, Dumitrita Bologan, Diana Comerzan and Ludmila Petroman. The delegated jurists will not be employees of the ECHR or the Councilor of Europe. They will be involved in the works of the Registry and will provide assistance over the complaints submitted against the Republic of Moldova.
In the first round of the contest that ended on July 11, the Ministry of Justice also chose four candidates. These are: Ruxanda Revencu, Tatiana Iurco, Lilian Apostol and Cornel Sotnic.
The contract will be initially valid for a year and can be extended for a new term. The salary, social benefits and other compensatory payments will be set by an individual agreement of the selected person with the Government of the Republic of Moldova.
