Ministry of Internal Affairs warns about ‘pseudo-policemen’ on Ukrainian roads
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova (MIA) and Ukrainian police forces warn drivers who travel to Ukraine to be watchful when stopped by police officers, since more and more cases of ‘pseudo-policemen’ have been recorded lately, reads a MIA press release.
The Ukrainian police mention that the so-called police officers invent various reasons for releasing, for a concrete payment, a ticket that ensures a “safe” way on the country’s territory.
The special features of a real police officer in Ukraine are: blue uniform with specific title badge, black and white truncheon and police car with blue registration plates.
