The Ministry of the Interior on June 16 inaugurated the newly built alley in front of the institution. The area in front of the Ministry of the Interior was planted with flowers and grass. There were set up two benches that were donated by the Ministry to the city. Minister of the Interior Alexandru Jizdan said that by inaugurating an alley, the Ministry’s employees aimed to make the city more beautiful. The Ministry invested 19,000 lei in the building of the alley, IPN reports.

“The alley and the two benches represent assistance provided to our city and there is a dedicated team behind this effort. The pedestrians and the employees of the Ministry of the Interior can now enjoy the walk on the pavement in front of the Ministry. I would challenge our neighbors and all those who can to contribute by embellishing our city,” stated Alexandru Jizdan.

The minister added he is confident that the benches on the alley will be popular with the inhabitants of Chisinau and more benches could be yet put in.
