Ministry of Information and Communication Technology says crossborder traffic should be liberalized

The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology insists that the crossborder traffic be liberalized, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting sources in the institution. Minister Alexandru Oleinic instructed officials of the institution to work out a plan of action for removing the obstacles to crossing the state border and present it in three days. The given issue was discussed at a working meeting of decision makers of the Ministry and the state-run telecoms carrier Moldtelecom. According to Oleinic, the liberalization of the crossborder traffic is very important for developing the ICT sector of Moldova and creating favorable conditions for free competition between the telecoms carriers.
