If a baccalaureate test is annulled, the student concerned will be eligible for a retake only in two years. Such a provision may be included in the new methodology that the Ministry of Education is working on. “I don’t exclude that starting next year the entire society will find out that if a student is caught cheating or in possession of prohibited items, then he/she will be eligible for a retake only after two or even three years”, said the Minister of Education Mihail Sleahtitchi, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. The official says that such a practice exists in other countries and it makes the students more responsible. In some states, the retake of the exam is allowed only after, at least, five years after the first attempt. At the 2012 BAC exam session 295 papers were annulled due to students’ failure to comply with the examination methodology. The students will retake the exams during next year’s session.
