Ministry of Education agrees university admission conditions

The Ministry of Education approved the framework regulations concerning the organization of admission to the bachelor’s degree studies in the 2017-2018 university year. The admission session will take place between July 24 and August 9, 2017, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the Ministry.

As during the previous years, the candidates can apply to several specialties in different areas of professional formation at one or several universities, but can study at one faculty only. The admission concessions for particular socially deprived categories were kept. These will benefit from 15% of the budget-funded places specified in the admission plan. Priority is given to those who remained without parental care and those with severe or accentuated disability degrees. The given category can also take part in the general admission contest.

The graduates of pre-university education institutions from the eastern districts and Bender municipality, including those who studied according to the education programs approved by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Moldova, will also benefit from special destination places funded from the budget, including scholarship and accommodation in dorms.

At the request of citizens, to facilitate the submission of documents, this year the required documents can be filed by another person in the name of the candidate, based on power of attorney.

The Ministry of Education recommends all those interested to additionally inform themselves about the specific admission conditions and to consult the website of the education institution as the own admission procedures can stipulate more conditions, depending on specialty.
