The Ministry of Defense expresses its concern about the holding of joint exercises of the special services of Transnistria and the local Operational Group of Russian Troops in the eastern districts of Moldova. In a press release, the Ministry says the staging of such drill represents defiance of the national legislation, IPN reports.

According to the Transnistrian press, the special forces of Transnistria and the units of the Operational Group of Russian Troops held in concert terrorist danger liquidation drill, with a part of the exercises being staged on the Nistru River.

The so-called leader of the Transnistrian executive Pavel Prokudin said the joint exercises are very useful to the service members of the region given that the Russian army is one of the most powerful in the world and the Transnistrian military men have what to learn from their Russian colleagues.
