The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry organizes this weekend, November 3-4, a fair of ecologically clean and traditional agricultural products, right on the institution's parking lot, reports Info-Prim Neo. “The buyers will have the occasion to directly meet the producers. Everyone will be able to buy organic or traditional products”, Minister Vasile Bumacov told a press conference. If the fair gets many visitors, it will be organized in other weekends too. “We will see what the producers and buyers reaction is. If there is a high demand, we will find a larger area, and will prepare it specifically for this event”, said Vasile Bumacov. As for the prices at the fair, the Minister said that they will rise up to the quality of the products. “Our people think that organic fruit and vegetables are cheaper. On the contrary, they are much harder to grow and take care of, without using pesticides and chemicals”, said Vasile Bumacov. The Minister added that EU states extensively use environmentally friendly agriculture, and its products are in high demanded.
