Ministry employees will learn from Sweden’s experience in reforming public service

Beginner public servants of ministries will be able to develop managerial, communication and strategic analysis skills and to contribute to the modernization of the public service by taking part in the Sprint Program. The program launched by the State Chancellery with support from the National Democratic Institute of Moldova includes training and study visits to relevant institutions in Sweden, IPN reports.

Within these visits, 20 employees younger than 35 of the central public administration will analyze viable public service models and will collect information needed for designing research projects.

In the launch of the program, the Government’s secretary general Artur Mija said the main goal of the program is to improve the quality of public service and to connect young specialists to persons from the administration so as to promote new ideas and imitative in the context of the European modernization agenda.

The Sprint Program will have a series of editions. It will be extended with the contribution of donors from different states. To take part in this year’s edition, candidates are invited to file an application form by August 15.
