Minister Vasile Batca becomes new target of Socialist MPs

The parliamentary group of the Party of Socialists made a new simple motion, this time against Minister of Construction and Regional Development Vasile Batca. This is the eighth simple motion proposed by the Socialists since May, when they announced that they will seek the dismissal of all the members of the Cabinet, one after another, IPN reports.

Socialist MP Vasile Bolea said the lack of a clear picture as to the kind of infrastructure existing at the local level makes the country development process chaotic. The local councils do not have general urbanistic plans, while the Ministry of Construction and Regional Development does not bring things in the area in order. Minister Vasile Batca forgot about the made promises, while the allocated funds are used inefficiently. Corruption flourishes at the Ministry, but the minister overlooks the fact that his inferiors get bonuses unjustifiably.

Earlier, the Socialists submitted simple motions against ministers Corina Fusu, Octavian Armasu, Anatol Salaru, Iurie Chirinciuc, Stela Grigoras, Vladimir Cebotari and Deputy Prime Minster Gheorghe Brega. The motions against the first five ministers were rejected, while the motion against Vladimir Cebotari is to be examined in the July 15 sitting of Parliament. A minister can be dismissed by a majority of votes of the attending MPs.
