Minister of Education Maia Sandu, in the April 15 meeting of the Government, made a call to the National Bank of Moldova, asking that it should make public the report of the company Kroll that examined the situation at Banca de Economii, Banca Sociala and Unibank, IPN reports.

“It’s strange that this report hasn’t been yet published. If there are reasons not to make it public, these should be presented. As a minister, I request being allowed to see this report,” stated Maia Sandu.

Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici said the report will be presented after the Government’s meeting of April 22. “I discussed the issue with representatives of the central bank and asked them the same thing. The report produced by Kroll will be presented next Wednesday. Today it will be distributed to all the ministers,” he stated.

Kroll launched the investigation into the situation at Banca de Economii, Banca Sociala and Unibank, including the transactions performed by the three banks, in February and completed its first stage.
