As of September 1, minibuses on route number 117 will no longer reach the Telecentru area. The route will be shortened to the center of the capital.
Asked by IPN, Lilian Copaci, deputy head of the General Directorate for Public Transport and Communications, said that the itinerary was changed on the request of the local authorities and inhabitants of Colonița village. A small number of transport units remained on this route. Out of 45 minibuses a few years ago, only 12 are currently running. The intervals between them is very big and, especially in the morning, not all passengers in Colonita have the chance to reach the capital.
Thus, from September 1, minibuses no. 117 will start from the village of Colonița and will run there along the streets of Stejarilor, Budești and Stefan cel Mare. While in Chisinau, they will run along the following streets - Vadul lui Vodă, Nicolae Milescu Spătarul, Ginta Latina, Mircea cel Bătrân boulevard, Alecu Russo, Nicole Dimo, Academician Andrei Saharov, Dumitru Râşcanu, Aerodromului, Andrei Doga, Tudor Vladimirescu, Ismail, Avram Iancu, Tighina and August 31, 1989 street.
Also from September 1, the itinerary of trolleybus number 37 will be partially modified. The trolleybus tour will start within Chisinau municipality at the Railway Station, Iuri Gagarin Boulevard, and will run along Constantin Negruzzi Boulevard, Stefan cel Mare and Sfânt, Ismail, Uzinelor streets. In the area of Bubuieci village it will run along Toader Bubuiog street. The return point within Bubuieci village, will be Toader Bubuiog street. Within the Chisinau area, they will run along Uzinelor Street, Ismail Street, Dimitrie Cantemir Boulevard and Iuri Gagarin Boulevard.
