A cargo minibus with five people inside ended up in a ditch after losing its brakes near the village of Coșcodeni, Sângerei. Three of the occupants were taken to the Sângerei District Hospital with various injuries.
Sângerei Police spokesperson Lilia Harea told IPN the driver, 51, couldn’t control the vehicle after the brakes failed and sideswiped lightly another car before heading the minibus into the trench.
None of the drivers involved was driving under the influence. The local police are further investigating the case.
