Five persons were injured in a road accident in Chisinau that involved a minibus, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Traffic Police, the accident happened near the National Circus on January 22. A Mercedes minibus running on route No. 110 skidded on the icy road and, making a U-turn, hit a Renault. Consequently, five passengers of the minibus suffered different injuries. A woman aged 25 got her pelvic bones fractured, while the other passengers sustained minor injuries. Two men aged 24 and 30 were rushed to the Chisinau Emergency Hospital after they received serious injuries in a car accident in Ratus village. Last night, a taxi driver lost control of his Dacia-Logan car on Ialoveni St in Chisinau. The car ran into a lamp post. The 25-year-old driver suffered forehead traumas. The traffic police warn the drivers to adjust the speed to the conditions on the road, keep the distance between the vehicles and be very careful while driving. Three serious road accidents and about 70 accidents without victims happened in Chisinau yesterday and last night.
