A mini-football field was built at 104/2 Doina St in the capital city. This is one of the five pitches that the General Housing and Amenities Division plans to set up this year.
Contacted by IPN for details, the Division’s spokeswoman Irina Boțu said that the foundations were built and the artificial grass and protection fence around the field were placed. The area can be used by all the people living nearby. The lights will be on until 11pm.
Works to set up mini football fields are being carried out at another four addresses, namely: 28 Mircea cel Bătrân Blvd; 93 Alba Iulia St; 10 Sarmizegetusa St, and 326 Șoseaua Muncești St.
The Division also executes works to reconstruct football pitches at seven educational institutions in Chisinau - the Lyceums “Universul”, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza”, “Olimp”, “Petru Zadnipru”, “George Meniuc”, “Dante Alighieri” and “Alexandr Pushkin”.
The contactors were chosen at tender contests. The money for the works was allocated from the municipal budget.
