At the start of the second half of the school year, a children's home located in Telecentru quarter of Chisinau received a stereo system, a karaoke machine and candies from the National Army. The donation was made by the command and soldiers of the Guard Battalion. The musical equipment was won by military men during a competition held in the National Army. “The soldiers decided to donate this equipment to children. Besides, they gave them candies,” Major Alexandru Josan, press officer with the Ministry of Defense, told Info-Prim Neo.
