Wrestler Mihail Sava will fight for a bronze medal at the Rome European Wrestling Championships. The 28-year-old athlete beat Switzerland’s Marc Dietsche and Hungary’s Roman Asharin, but lost to Aghahuseyn Mustafayev of Azerbaijan in the semifinals of the 70 kg weight class, IPN reports.
In the match for bronze, Sava meets Armenia’s Mkheyan, Serada or Belarus and Boruta of Ukraine. In 2014, Mihail Sava won a bronze medal at the World Championships.
In the 65 kg class, Maxim Saculțan will compete in the playoffs against Iszmail Muszukajev of Hungary.
