On the occasion of the 80th anniversary, actor Mihai Volontir will be celebrated throughout March. The master will be the protagonist of a concert that will be held at the National Palace on March 28, IPN has learned from the Ministry of Culture.

At the Odeon Movie Theater, there will be premiered a documentary about the theatrical and film activity of the actor. The date will be specified later. On March 24-30, there will be screened the most famous films featuring Mihai Volontir.

Throughout March, the Chisinau theatrical institutions are giving performances at the National Theater “Vasile Alecsandri” in Balti and in Soldanesti district, given that Mihai Volontir is a citizen of honor of this district.

During the year, there will be held a cultural duplex Chisinau-Balti and launched the book “Mihai Volontir or human vocation”, which is about the work and creation of the master.

Mihai Volontir turns 80 on March 9. The master holds the title of People’s Artist and is a knight of the Order of the Republic, which is the highest state award.
