“The support we receive from our American partners makes us more confident and determined in the fight against propaganda, disinformation and hybrid attacks that we are facing”, said Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi during a meeting in Washington with Brian Nelson, the US Department of the Treasury’s Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence.

Mihai Popșoi thanked the American official for the leadership in sanctioning those who undermine the democracy and independence of the Republic of Moldova.

“We will carefully monitor all those who want to undermine the Republic of Moldova, and we remain united to support Ukraine and the Ukrainian people in the face of Russia’s unjust and unjustified war on our Ukrainian friends”, stressed Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi.
