Career diplomat Mihai Mîțu will be managing the Protocol Section of the President’s Executive Office as from this week. He was detached to the Presidential Office of the Republic of Moldova from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, IPN reports.

According to the presidential press service, Mihai Mîțu has over 15 years’ experience in the diplomatic service, including in the State Diplomatic Protocol.

Mihai Mîțu earlier worked at Moldova’s Embassies in the United States, Sweden and Romania.
