Unaffiliated MP Mihai Godea is skeptical that the lawmakers will organize official field hearings as they stated when asking that the next week’s sittings be postponed. “You are wrong if you consider that the MPs will meet with the voters and the people and will hold official hearings. They will meet with the voters in an informal environment,” Mihai Godea told the journalists after the April 13 sitting of the legislature. The sitting lasted for half an hour. In the period the MPs passed seven bills in the final reading. “It seems to me that in the Government and at the local level they work in the same way as Parliament works,” stated Mihai Godea. The April 19 and April 20 sittings before Low Sunday will not take place. The lawmakers decided to use this time to make field trips.
