Unaffiliated lawmaker Mihai Godea said that servicemen of another state were present in the Great National Assembly Square in Chisinau on May 9. He asked for explanations from Government over this situation, IPN reports.
The MP considers that the Republic of Moldova and its people were humiliated by such an act.
A concert organized with the support of the Russian Embassy was given in the central square of Chisinau on May 9. Russian singers Iosif Kobzon and Lev Leshchenko were the special invitees. Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitri Rogozin, who is the special representative of the Russian President for Transnistria, attended the event, being in Moldova on a private visit.
