Mihai Godea, the leader of the Democratic Action Party, in the evening of September 27 went on a tour of European capitals in order to consult the international partners interested in Moldova’s integration into the EU, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the party’s press service. According to the quoted source, Mihai Godea will return to Chisinau towards the end of this week. On October 3, he will play host to the leaders of the Alliance for European Integration (AEI), who are expected at the party’s head office. The meeting will center on the government program and the terms within which the AEI will fulfill its commitments to the people and the European partners. In a news conference on September 26, Mihai Godea announced that the Democratic Action Party convinced three Communist lawmakers to vote for the AEI’s candidate for the presidency so as to offer the chance of strengthening the democratic government in Moldova.
