Mihai Ghimpu lays flowers at Unknown Solder's Monument in Bucharest and signs in Book of Honor

Moldova's Acting President Mihai Ghimpu started his visit in Bucharest with laying of flowers at the Unknown Soldiers' Monument located in Carol the First Park, together with members of the Moldovan official delegation, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the presidential office. The Moldovan delegation is accompanied by the Secretary of State of the Romanian Foreign Affairs Ministry Eugen Tomac, the Ambassador of Romania to Moldova Marius Lazurca, the charge d'affaires of the Moldovan Embassy in Bucharest Efim Chilari, and other officials. Afterward, Mihai Ghimpu will put his signature in the Book of Honor. According to the program of the visit, Ghimpu will have a private meeting with Romania's President Traian Basescu at the Cotroceni Palace. After the official delegations of the two countries hold discussions, the two heads of state will make statements for the press. Mihai Ghimpu is paying an official two-day visit to Bucharest at the invitation of his Romanian counterpart.
