The chairman of the Liberal Party Mihai Ghimpu gave his vote for a Chisinau where there is continuity so that it is a developing city, as Moldova is, IPN reports.
The politician said that in 5-10 years he sees the capital a developing, beautiful and free city with satisfied people. “I hope this time the political class and the voters realize that life goes on and there is no use going back,” said the Liberal leader.
As to the problems faced by Chisinau, Mihai Ghimpu said we have a city with green infrastructure, but more time and money is needed for solving all its problems. This is a problem both for Chisinau and for the whole country.
The second round of local elections are held in Moldova today, June 28. The voters in Chisinau choose between the Liberals’ candidat Dorin Chirtoaca and the Socialists’ candidate Zinaida Grecheanyi.
