Mihai Ghimpu congratulates Tiraspol Theater of Drama and Comedy
Head of Parliament and Acting President Mihai Ghimpu sent a congratulation message to artists of the Tiraspol-based Theater of Drama and Comedy “Nadejda Aronetski“, which celebrates 40 years of work today. “Our oldest theater where Constantin Constantinov, Ecaterina Cazimirov, Victor Gherlac, Domnica Darienco, Vsevolod Gavrilov and many other great actors made their debut continues to be a real temple for our theatrical art,” Ghimpu says in the message, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
"The art generates harmony and beauty. It unites the people and makes them better. You, the masters of the stage, manage to find the safest way of making the people spiritually and emotionally closer,” Mihai Ghimpu said.
Working as part of the Theatrical Union of Moldova, the troupe in Tiraspol asserted itself as a remarkable artistic entity of the national and international theatrical movement, staging interesting productions that contributed to the humanistic and esthetic education of the people, the Parliament says in a communique.
Also today, March 25, Mihai Ghimpu issued a decree to confer the title of People's Artist on the actor of the Theater of Drama and Comedy “Nadejda Aronetski“ Igor Taran, for merits in developing the theatrical art, contribution to the promotion of the moral-spiritual values and creative mastership.
