Mihaela Chisnencu has won the trophy of the Romanian National Pop Music Contest “Golden Daffodil”. It is a victory that the young Moldovan singer dedicated to her late teacher Anatol Roscovan, Info-Prim Neo reports. Mihaela Chisnencu competed in the up to 20 years category. That was her first performance after the death of her teacher, composer Anatol Roscovan, with whom she had worked for 8 years. Mihaela’s performance was highly appreciated by the jury that consisted of 5 composers, including Mihai Traistariu, radio and TV producers. Besides the trophy, the Moldovan singer also won a special prize for her unusual voice. Her works will be promoted in Romania: her songs will be broadcast on the radio; she will participate in different programs and will benefit from a launch on festivals’ websites. Mihaela Chisnencu, 15, is an eighth grader at the Theoretical High School “Mircea Eliade”. She has won several dozen prizes at different national and international contests in Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, and Lithuania.
