The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MFAEI) condemns the recent Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure along the Danube, close to the border with Romania, IPN reports.

“These attacks pose significant risks to the export of grain from Ukraine and to regional and global food security,” noted the MFAEI.

The foreign press reported that a Russian overnight drone strike on port infrastructure in Odessa region destroyed a grain elevator. Ports from the Ukrainian side of the Danube, which are considered alternative ways for transporting Ukrainian grain, were targeted.
