Metropolitan Bishop of Moldova urges people to live in peace and love
The Metropolitan Bishop of Moldova, His Holiness Vladimir made public a Christmas pastoral letter, calling on the Christians to live in peace and love, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“Now that the angelic hymn resounds in church and in souls, let’s meet Christ with clean souls, firm faith, high hope and great love for God who is born in Bethlehem. On this feast, we should think about our deeds and lay the foundations of a life in Christian spirit,” reads the letter.
According to His Holiness Vladimir, 2010 was rather hard and tense. “We are concerned especially about domestic violence, exodus of people, lack of educators, moral decay of the children and parents, abuses in society and other problems that cannot be ignored. We want a united, calm and healthy society,” said the Metropolitan Bishop of Moldova.
His Holiness Vladimir wished the people to be united in thoughts, enjoy life, become better and live in peace.
