Metropolitan Bishop of Chisinau and All Moldova Vladimir delivered a Christmas message, saying the Incarnation of Our Lord Jesus Christ is the most precious present that God offered us to transform us from slaves into his sons. According to him, the light of Bethlehem gathers us all before the holy altars to pray to Christ as he brings peace, joy and reconciliation between man and God.
“Opening his parental arms to us, God came to save us not directly from the sky and not descending as an angel, but as a man, as the Scriptures stated and as his holy disciples and apostles saw him. “We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as the Savior of the world” (John 4:14). We have celebrated the birth of Christ for centuries, with hearts full of hope as the sinful meet again our Savior,” says the message read to the faithful.
His Holiness Vladimir wished the Christians to observe Christmas in peace and joy, in light and accomplishment, with health, truth and justice.
