Fifteen young people, of which ten students and five pupils from technical vocational education establishments, will receive the President's Scholarship in the amount of 1385 lei for students and 1075 lei for pupils, IPN reports.

The candidates have been selected by a special committee, which examined 33 files submitted by 18 higher education establishments and 18 technical-vocational schools.

Candidates with a grade point average of 9.5 on the subjects of study have been admitted to the competition.

Other 12 students will be granted the Republic scholarship in the amount of 1525 lei.

The Government scholarship of 1270 lei is awarded to 30 students from higher education establishments, while the Gaudeamus scholarship of 920 lei - to 9 pupils.
