MEP Andi Cristea, who heads the European Parliament’s Delegation for Moldova, made a call to the Moldovan political leaders, urging them to form the new Government as soon as possible so as to continue implementing the pro-European reforms. The call was transmitted within a telephone discussion with acting Prime Minister Natalia Gherman in the evening of July 7, IPN reports.
According to the Government’s press service, the subjects of conversation included the implementation of the Association Agreement between Moldova and the EU, the meeting of the EU – Moldova Parliamentary Cooperation Committee set for September and the negotiation of an agreement with the IMF.
In this connection, Andi Cristea noted that the European Union remains firmly committed to support Moldova’s European course.
