Community mental health centers will be set up in all the family doctors centers by September 1. An order to this effect was signed by Minister of Health Andrei Usatyi. The managers of primary and hospital medical assistance institutions will provide the areas and equipment needed for the mental health centers to work, IPN reports.

The Community Mental Health Center will be a community medical service that will offer the people suffering from mental disorders consultative medical assistance to assess, prevent and early detect the disorders, for family inclusion and mediation in the relations with the family and the community. The children and grownups with mental and behavioral disorders will be the beneficiaries.

The centers will provide consultative services in ambulatory conditions and mobile assistance services at home, including for solving crises.
