Men suffer hand injuries at workplace
Two men were admitted to the Emergency Hospital with serious hand injuries that they received at the workplace.
Chisinau Ambulance Service coordinating doctor Eufalia Negreata has told Info-Prim Neo that both of the cases happened yesterday morning, at an interval of 15 minutes. A 45-year-old employee of the carpet factory SA Carpet-Floare got his hands stuck in a roller that flattens carpets. Fortunately, his colleagues saw it and released his hands quickly. An ambulance rushed him to the hospital.
Another man aged 56, who works for SA Lift-Service, sustained a fracture of the left hand when the motor of a lift fell on him.
A woman, 58, tried to kill herself by taking 30 pills with 100 grams of vodka.
Six persons, three of whom women aged 42, 43 and 56, suffered strokes. Two men of 38 and 58 and three women, two of 59 and one of 78, died suddenly.
As many as 725 persons called ambulances in Chisinau on Thursday and on Friday night.
