The police found two men stealing things from a home situated in Chisinau’s Buiucani district. If they are found guilty, they will serve up to 12 years in jail, IPN reports, quoting the National Bureau of Statistics.

The culprits broke in when the house owners were on a visit to the relatives. They jumped over the fence and opened one of the windows. The police caught them red-handed.

The men are aged 32 and, respectively, 34. One of them is from Chisinau, while the other one is from Anenii Noi. They form part of a group that was earlier convicted of theft, robbery and drug-related offenses.

When questioned by the police, the men accepted their blame.
