The next annual meeting of the representatives of the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) and World Bank’s „Dutch Club” will be held in Moldova. The decision has been announced on 18th of June by the vice prim-minister of Finances in Netherlands, Gerrit Zalm, after the meeting in Erevan, Armenia. According to the Dutch official, during the two-days meeting in Armenia’s capital, the IMF strategy was discussed. Particularly, there were covered topics like fiscal and budgetary competence, resource mobilization, vulnerable areas of the developing countries, increasing the productivity and reducing unemployment etc. On Monday, June 19, Gerrit Zalm is visiting Chisinau. During this day the Dutch official will have a meeting with prim-minister Vasile Tarlev, signing a couple of bilateral documents. At 12:20, the Dutch Minister of Finances will hold together with prime-viceprime-minister Zinaida Greceanai a press conference. According to the director executive of the World Bank, Jan Willem van der Kaaij, quoted by the Russian press, the number of population of the member countries of the “Dutch Club” reaches 150 million. 12 countries constitute the “Group”: Holland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Armenia, Israel, Croatia, Moldova, Georgia, Romania, Ukraine, Cyprus and Macedonia.
