The Police has placed under arrest the brother of the delinquent called "Chitaeț" and two other members of the same criminal organization, which is specialized in drug trafficking. The accused are 39 and 43 year old.

During searches, about 200 grams of hashish were detected and confiscated. Following the investigation, law officers established that the accused, together with other people who still remain unidentified, bought drugs on a daily basis from different drug dealers, including via electronic means of communication. Later, they transported and divided the drugs into smaller quantities, then sold them in Chișinău and in the suburbs.

If convicted, the defendants face up to 15 years in prison.

Law enforcers also documented the final consumers, from whom the hashish was also confiscated. Consumers are being investigated for illegal drug trafficking.

According to the police, the delinquent called "Chitaeț" has a superior management role in the organization which bears his name. As the leader of the organization, he has delegated to the members of the organization from different cities and penitentiaries to accumulate money in the organization's common budget ("общаг" from Russian language), through blackmail, drug trafficking and other crimes committed on the territory of Moldova, the European Union and countries of the Community of Independent States.
