The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) came together for a meeting in Chisinau today, June 4. The meeting is held in the context of the Summit of SEECP Heads of State and Government under the auspices of the Moldovan Presidency of this regional organization, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the meeting is attended by officials of the SEECP Foreign Affairs Ministries, representatives of the current Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union and of the future Swedish Presidency, of the European Commission and by the Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council. The meeting will discuss the progress made by the Southeastern European countries in the European integration process and methods of strengthening the SEECP’s role as important political regional organization and the cooperation with the Regional Cooperation Council. There will be also discussed a number of documents concerning the regional cooperation process in Southeastern Europe. In the context of the SEECP ministerial meeting, a news conference in the SEECP Troika format (Bulgaria, Moldova and Turkey) will be held at 18.00.
