At least two ambulances will be on watch near the Great National Assembly Square during the New Year's Eve festivities, and family doctors will be on duty at primary medical institutions.

Chisinau chief doctor Mihai Moldovanu has told IPN that family doctors' centers will work quite as usually. As is usual during holidays and weekends, there will be family doctors on duty at primary medical institutions to consult patients with fever or hypertension and chronic patients who need prescriptions.

In case of injuries or dental pain, rather than going to specialized medical institutions during holidays, people should call the Emergency Service 903.

According to statistics, most people hospitalized during holidays suffer food poisoning, various infections and traumas.
