The coverage of the 2009 election campaign by Moldovan mass-media will be consulted with French experts in the field of broadcasting. For this purpose, two representatives of the French Superior Audiovisual Council will pay a visit to Chisinau on Monday, January 19, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a press release from the Central Election Commission (CEC), the experts will meet the representatives of CEC, the Broadcasting Coordinating Council (BCC) and the Public National Broadcasting Company “Teleradio-Moldova”. The participants are to exchange opinions on the draft of the Concept Paper on the Coverage of the election campaign in mass-media, developed by BCC. The event will be held within the frameworks of the European Commission and Council of Europe Joint Program “Support for free and fair elections”, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program.
