Continuing a fine tradition from the previous ballots, the Turkish Embassy in Chisinau will open a modern media centre within the Atatürk Library for the legislative elections in the region, Info-Prim Neo reports, citing a press release from the Embassy. According to the Embassy, the Centre will be equipped with proper communication devices (fax, internet, phone) permitting excellent working conditions for the press corps. All communications services will be provided free of charge to the journalists. These facilities will allow reporters covering the Gagauz legislative elections to speed up the transmission of information to their media outlets, the press release adds. Elections for the People’s Assembly of the Gagauz-Yeri autonomy are due to take place on March 16.
