The mayor of Falesti town and almost 20 local elected officials of the Politic Party “Our Party” (PPPN) decided to leave the party. In a statement, these announce that they will continue to work independently, IPN reports.

“Our supporters no longer have confidence in the party. The corruption-related problem faced by the party’s chairman Renato Usatyi creates a negative image to the whole party. In Falesti district, the people had big expectations of “Our Party”. That’s why the disappointment is great as the party’s administration did nothing for our district,” says the statement.

The statement was signed by district and town councilors and councilors of the villages Bocani, Obreja, Egorovca, Panzareni, Catranac, Navarnet, Pruteni, Horesti and Izvoare and by the mayors of Falesti town and Bocani and Risipeni villages.
