The opening of Trandafirilor St after repair will be marked by cycling, motorcycling and running races, the head of Botanica district Vladimir Guritsenko announced. The event will take place on November 11, starting at 11am, Info-Prim Neo reports. Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca urged his colleagues to put on sportswear and join in with the sportspersons who will take part in the marathon. “Let's run from Decebal Blvd. until Dacia Blvd. Do I need to sign an ordinance or shall we reach an agreement?” the mayor asked. In reply, Vladimir Guritsenko said that he can send invitations to all the political parties involved in the election campaign. The race will be refereed by workers who repaired the street. Trandafirilor St has been repaired at a cost of 9 million lei during two weeks.
