Mayor of Bahmut will be excluded from PDM

Mayor of Bahmut village in Calarasi district, Oleg Badarau, accused of being the head of a criminal group, will be excluded from the Democratic Party, Info-Prim Neo learned from a PDM press release.
“We deem such involvement in actions against the law unacceptable for a member of the Democratic Party and that is why the Party will initiate proceedings to remove Oleg Badarau from its ranks”, reads the press release.
The Prosecutor General’s Office announced on Friday that the mayor of Bahmut village was arrested. He is accused of organizing a criminal group that he tried to use in order to deprive a person of a metal collecting and processing company. All four members of the group are under arrest. Charges of blackmail and serious hooliganism, punishable by up to 15 years in jail, were laid on November 21.
