One third of the apartment buildings managed by Privatized Dwelling Owners Associations and half of those run by Homebuilding Cooperatives do not accept the heat supplied by SA Termocom in a centralized way, deputy mayor Vlad Cotet said in Monday’s meeting of the Chisinau City Hall, Info-Prim Neo reports. ”The situation is worrisome. We have managers who disdain the population,” said Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca. Termocom commercial director Mihai Arusoi expressed his concern about the irresponsibility of some of the housing stock managers who have not yet connected the buildings to the heating system. “The heating pipes may yield and problems will arise in the height of winter,” he said.
