Maxi-taxis older than 15 zears, which are produced until and including 1990, will be excluded of the process of passenger transporting. According to a decision of the interim mayor of Chisinau, Vasile Ursu, on 10-20 April, the first step of the overhauling of the maxi-taxis and taxis authorised for passenger transporting in municipality Chisinau will take place. Checking technical situation, aesthetic aspect and the equipment degree of the cars will be done at the testing stations according to overhauling instructions, drafted by local and central public authorities. Coordination and monitoring of the overhauling process of maxi-taxis and taxis will be done by the Municipal Public Transport and Communications Department.
