The Material Reserves Agency of the Ministry of the Interior received the fifth consignment of crude oil. The 28 wagons supplement 60% of the total volume of crude oil bought by the Agency, IPN reports.
The Agency noted that the crude oil is purchased to ensure the country’s energy security in times of crisis generated by the conflict in Ukraine.
“The ensuring of energy security is a priority for the Republic of Moldova, while the Material Reserves Agency will further do its utmost to help achieve this objective,” the institution said in a press release.
