At the market, the prices of fruit and vegetables have slightly decreased. There is now plenty of raspberry at the market, which is sold for 20-21 lei per kg. Tart cherries are sold for 18 lei per kg, while apricots and peaches for 25 and 15 lei respectively. There are now also pods and watermelons at the market. The pods cost 20 lei per kg and up, while watermelons 15 lei per kg, but these are yet few on sale, IPN reports.

The prices of tomatoes decreased by 2 lei on average compared with last week, to 18 lei per kg. Bell peppers and cucumbers are sold for 18 and, respectively 10 lei/kg. Last weekend, these cost 20 and 13 lei respectively.

Eggplants cost 35 lei per kilogram, as a week before. Potatoes are sold for 7 lei, vegetable marrows for 5 lei, early cabbage for 10 lei, while mushrooms for 18 lei per kg.

A kilogram of cherries cost 15 lei/kg, while strawberries are sold for 25 lei/kg.

A bunch of parsley, dill or red onion tops is sold for 2 lei, as earlier. Ten eggs cost 11 or 12 lei.

The prices of milk and meat products also remained unchanged. Pork is sold for 70 lei, beef for 80 lei, cow cheese for 40-45 lei, ewe’s cheese for 50-60 lei, while sour cream for 30 lei per kg.
