Market and investors need political and economic stability in Moldova, Marius Lazurca
“The development of the market and investments in Moldova requires some legal guarantees regarding the economic and political stability in the country”, Marius Lazurca, Romanian ambassador in Chisinau, has stated during the reunion of the Moldovan Businessmen Association Club (AOAM) Pro-Sper. During the meeting, participants debated possibilities of collaboration between Moldova and Romania, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The ambassador has reiterated that Romania was and will be an active supporter of Moldova’s integration in the EU. Besides sharing its European experience, Romania has also been very involved in Moldova over the last year and a half by opening consulships and by implementing other important juridical programs. “Mentally, the simple citizen will feel the approach to EU when the visa regime liberalization is done”, he said.
Among the topics debated during the meetings were Diverta and Debenhams brands- success stories of Romanian businesses in Moldova. Olga Turcanu, RTC Group representative, presented company’s history, the decision to expand in Moldova, the problems and opportunities encountered.
The 25 participant in the meeting learned about the future actions meant to enhance the relationship between the two neighboring states, such as creating the Moldovan-Romanian Chamber of Commerce, organizing trade missions and encouraging Romanian businessmen to invest in Moldova.
AOAM Pro-Sper Club was founded in November 2010.
