The President of Romania Klaus Iohannis on April 5 signed a decree to recall a number of ambassadors, including the Ambassador to Moldova Marius Lazurca, IPN reports.
Marius Lazurca held office in Moldova since 2010, when Liberal MP Mihai Ghimpu was acting President of Moldova.
Romania’s last ambassador to Moldova Filip Teodorescu was declared persona non-grata by the Communist government immediately after the events of April 2009.
